RVU - CLub Van 100 - Broadcast Multipoint Production System

A unique broadcast system designed to facilitate the capture of high-quality audio and video from real-time interactions between a facilitator and multiple remote program particpants using videophones over broadband Internet connections.

 The Club Van 100 television show was the first program to use such a system to generate content in this manner, breaking new ground in reality TV programming.

Slot Player Assistance Line - Mirage Resorts, Treasure Island

A custom solution driving the state-of-the-art slot personal assistance network trial deployed in slot machines on the Treasure Island casino floor in Las Vegas. The network, which utlized specialized hardware and custom software in slot machines, allowed Treasure Island customers to be directly linked to a staff of concierges at a video call center.

Delivering studio quality video, both live and MPEG, the system replaced the paytable glass on the top of each slot machine. A customer could access a wealth of services such as ordering show tickets, making dinner reservations, or extending a stay at the hotel, without leaving the slot machine.

RCTV Multimedia Trial - AT&T / Ogilvy & Mather

AT&T's secret multimedia trial known initially as RCTV experimented with interactive content delivered to the family television to determine what kind of interactive content would drive adoption of the technologies to follow that included on-line gaming, content-on-demand, shopping, and messaging.

To accomplish this trial, an entire authoring and production facility was created along with specialized tools and content-specific software in order to make this vision a reality long before the Web became an ubiquitous service.

View-Master Interactive Vision - View-Master Ideal Group

Named Toy of the Year in 1989, this unique platform used specially encoded VHS tapes played on a conventional VCR to provide interactive games and activities for younger children. 

A complex system that required custom software and hardware development tools to create the interactive content and programming for each video title.  Special mastering equipment was required to mass-reproduce the specially encoded video tapes via thermal-magnetic duplication.

VideoArt - LJN Toys Ltd.

An electronic coloring book used with a standard television set that used a cartridges that provided licensed drawings/characters that could filled in or drawn over by the younger user.

Special content authoring, develpment, and image encoding  tools were created to transform the images from graphic artists to mass produced cartridges.
