Motion Media plc establishes Motion Media Technology, Inc. in Wilmington, NC and acquires certain assets and the engineering team of C-Phone
Corporation. The engineering team continues to develop an extensive array of visual communications products for consumer, business, security, and telehealth markets.

Stuart Ross joins Target Technologies as Director and VP of Engineering and upon arriving in Wilmington, NC begins to assemble the engineering group
at Target Technologies (later to become C-Phone Corporation.)
April 1993
New Potato wins a design contract to create the first prototype videoconferencing system for Target Technologies, Inc. a Wilmington, NC manufacturer
of the Twincom line of computer data modems.
February 1992
The overall business and customer base grows to where it is necessary for New Potato to incorporate in Connecticut as New Potato Technologies, Inc.

On an inspiration and in a reckless moment, New Potato Technologies is founded by Stuart Ross in Danbury, CT and
